Deep foundation bollards designed to stop truck bombs driving into a building, found outside many civic buildings in the US post September 11. The large concrete planters to the side were the original post Oklahoma City bombing defensive layer that have now become obsolete, being replaced by the bollards, which in turn will eventually be replaced by a newer design.
